One of the most powerful integrations - sync messages, create feedback, vote on behalf of customers, and manage everything from one dashboard.
Intercom is where many of your most valuable customer conversations happen. With the Intercom + FeatureOS integration, you can capture feature requests directly from those chats, embed boards and forms inside Intercom Messenger, and even bring the Intercom chat widget into your FeatureOS portal.
This makes it seamless for customers to share feedback without switching contexts, and for your team to push feedback into FeatureOS right from within the Intercom inbox.
Getting Started with Intercom + FeatureOS
- In FeatureOS: Go to Dashboard → Organization Settings → Integrations → Intercom → Connect.
- Sign into your Intercom account and authorize FeatureOS.
- The integration base is now set, you can configure your Intercom board and widget.
Setting up a FeatureOS board as the Intercom Board
- By default, your default FeatureOS board is linked as the Intercom board.
- To change: Go to Dashboard → Boards → More options → Set as Intercom Board.
- You can only have one Intercom board at a time. All posts submitted via Intercom Messenger will appear here.
Bringing the Intercom chat widget into FeatureOS
- Log in to your Intercom app → go to Messenger → Add apps to your Messenger.
- Choose Hellonext.co (FeatureOS) → set a title and button text → click Install.
- Save and set live.
- Copy your Intercom Chat Widget ID (e.g. from
https://app.intercom.com/a/apps/f1fytnmp/messenger,f1fytnmpis the ID). - In FeatureOS: Go to Organization Settings → Integrations → Chat Widgets → Intercom, paste the ID, and click Update.
Using FeatureOS inside Intercom Messenger
- In Intercom’s Inbox → open a conversation.
- In the reply area, click the FeatureOS icon.
- From here, you can:
- Search for a post and include it in the chat.
- Vote on behalf of a customer.
- Attach the post to the conversation.
- Create a new post if needed.
Pushing customer feedback from Intercom to FeatureOS
- In Intercom’s Inbox → open a conversation.
- On the right sidebar, under Hellonext.co, you can:
- Search and upvote existing posts.
- Create a new post on behalf of the customer.
- Choose a board, enter a title/description, and submit.
- Posts are automatically linked to that customer conversation for future context.
