Getting Started with Discord + FeatureOS

1. In FeatureOS: Go to Dashboard → Organization Settings → Integrations → Connect Discord.
2. You’ll be redirected to Discord, select your Discord Server and click Continue.
3. On the permissions page, make sure to grant the required permissions:
   • View Channels
   • Send Messages in Threads
   • Embed Links
   • Read Message History (If permissions are missed, adjust them in Discord Server Settings → Roles → FeatureOS → Permissions).
4. Back in FeatureOS, configure your integration:
   • Choose the Discord channel where notifications should appear.
   • Select which boards and events (new posts, upvotes, resolved posts, etc.) to track.

Now your team will start receiving FeatureOS updates directly inside Discord.

Creating FeatureOS Posts from Discord

• Use the /featureos command to create a post.
• Select a board from the dropdown, then fill in the title, description, and submitter details.
• Alternatively, click the “More options” menu on an existing Discord message to turn it into a FeatureOS post.
